Cultural Policy Research Methods Workshop, Winter Seminar 2016

16th November 2016, 12:30pm – 5:30pm, Irish World Academy of Music and Dance, University of Limerick

Cultural Policy Observatory Ireland(CPOI) is delighted to announce its 2016 Winter seminar held in collaboration with the MA Festive Arts programme at the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance, University of Limerick. This 2part seminar will explore the diverse research methodologies in cultural policy research. It will take place on Wednesday 16th November 2016 in the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance, University of Limerick, 12.30-5.30pm, and comprise of:

  • Event 1 (12.30pm-3.30pm): a Methods Seminar for CPOI Affiliate Researchers and doctoral candidates. I
  • Event 2 (3.30pm-5.30pm): a keynote presentation by cultural policy researcher,Prof. Eleonora Belfiore. Belfiore will discuss the value of humanities methods in cultural policy research and consider how we might work towards a research-informed, intellectually-sound national conversation on culture and policy.
